General

• Due to their lightweight properties, the aluminium frames can be knocked out of shape if the furniture is dragged across hard surfaces. Please lift when moving.

• All products require a minimal amount of care and maintenance. This document's cleaning and care instructions should be followed to avoid invalidating your warranty. 

• We recommend using a Supremo Garden Furniture cover to minimise dirt and debris contact when not in use.

Glass

• Avoid placing objects on the tables for an extended period that may directly or indirectly cause stains, such as ashtrays, pots and vases. 

• Do not place hot objects directly on the tables. Use coasters and table mats to prevent damage.

• Where applicable, the HDPE weave under clear glass can sag when exposed to natural heat. Once cooled, the weave will return to its former position. Continued exposure will cause acceptable movement to the weave. This expansion prevents the weave from becoming brittle and breaking.

• Avoid placing magnifying objects directly on the glass during consistent exposure to sunlight, such as drinking glasses, glass plates or vases.

• Supremo uses toughened, tempered safety glass. When this type of glass breaks, it will break into small pieces rather than large shards of glass that could cause harm. 

• Remove spillages immediately with an absorbent sponge or cloth.

Cushions

• Do not expose your Supremo cushions to consistent inclement weather conditions. Store away as advised.

• To avoid harming the water-resistant lining, do not machine wash.

• Remove spillages immediately with an absorbent sponge or cloth.

• Dark cushions are more likely to fade in constant direct sunlight. It is advised to store them when not in use.

• If the internal filling becomes wet, it is advised to remove the cushion cover and allow to dry in a warm, covered area for at least 48 hours before use.

• Do not store cushions under furniture covers.

Regular cleaning is essential because it reduces the risk of infestation or furniture damage. Not cleaning it properly can harbour mould and bacterial growth, both of which can shorten the furniture's lifespan and cause issues with the framework.

1. Use a soft brush to clean out any dust or debris (food particles) you might find on the furniture. 

2. A pair of tweezers could work well when you want to get rid of dirt from harder-to-reach places like crevices or between the weaves. Take care when using tweezers not to damage or catch the weave as this may cause breakages.

3. Supremo furniture can be washed with warm, soapy water and rinsed thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue. 

4. NEVER use a pressure washer to clean your furniture, as this could damage to the weave.

5. Wipe your Supremo garden furniture with a soft, damp cloth or warm, soapy water once a month. 

6. After washing the furniture, dry it in a well-ventilated area.

7. A suitable glass cleaner and soft cloth can be used to buff the glass.

8. Cushion covers are zipped for easy removal and should be hand-washed only. Any spillages should be removed with a damp cloth. Please refer to the care label for instructions. 

9. To keep your cushions looking pristine, we recommend storing them away when not in use. 

10. NEVER machine wash or tumble dry the covers.

11. In coastal environments with a high concentration of abrasive salt in the atmosphere, the frames and exposed metal should be washed down with fresh water monthly and covered when not in use to reduce the corrosion rate. 

12. Storing cushions away when not in use is essential.

13. Although not essential, Supremo advises storing the frames during winter. We have a range of Supremo covers specifically designed to keep the elements away and allow air to circulate through a Supremo breathable vent system suitable for the hardware. Cushions are not stored under cover.
